Convenient location near the bay. Spacious room without a water view. Friendly and polite staff. Easy access to the room with car backing. Quiet and comfortable beds.

The location right at the beachfront provides breathtaking views, and the friendly staff go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The rooms are well-equipped with basic amenities, including a pretty good fridge, and the breakfast served is delicious.

This hotel offers great value for money with its reasonable prices and attention to detail. The location right at the beachfront is a major plus point, allowing guests to take lovely walks and admire the beautiful mountains and water. The service provided by the friendly and helpful staff adds to the overall positive experience.

Everything was just fine.

Staff were very helpful, nothing was too much bother, even running me to the garage to get a battery as my one was flat. Rooms clean and tidy.

The motel is well localized and well equiped.

Heating not sufficient for cool nights

We had a great romantic escape near the beach, with a quick walk to see the dolphins. The location was perfect, with a quiet road separating us from the ocean and a couple of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The motel offered a mini fridge and microwave that was handy for our breakfast and snacks. The room was clean and comfortable with a cosy bed and an at home feeling.

The kitchen provided in the communal area was very basic and minimal. We had to wash our utensils in the bathroom sink which seemed unhygienic.

This motel was comfortable and very clean. The motel staff were friendly and accommadating, we rocked up with extra people and it wasn't a problem. Location and off street parking was good. Beds were very comfortable

It was a wonderful stay we had. Ian and Sue are a very fine couple who made our stay at their property so enjoyable that we just did not feel like leaving that place and I regretted having only one day in hand, I would have loved to stay at least for a week.....

I had a very comfortable stay at Norfolk Pine Motel in Kaikoura. The room I stayed in had a stunning view of the sea and the lounge area was spacious and well-equipped with a kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. The motel is conveniently located near the town centre and offers grassy areas and playground items. I highly recommend this motel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
